Stainless Steel Pressure Fermenter that we call a Kegmenter. These are extremely robust 1.8-2mm thick beasts.Â
We have kitted this with a pressure rated lid with red/yellow carbonation caps and a weight dip tube filter to make sure you're drawing off the clearest liquid out of your new Kegmenter.
Please note: You will need a spunding valve (BlowTie) in order to ferment under pressure. Please see the drop down for which style you'd prefer.
It is ideally suited for fermenting under pressure allowing the use of a spunding valve/adjustable pressure relief valve to naturally carbonate during primary fermentation.
The included silicone dip tube can be cut to length to ensure that the liquid from the Kegmenter is always drawn 2.5cm above the bottom or you can use the included float and filter to collect the clearest liquid from the top of the kegmenter. This helps to ensure that the beer is as clear as possible when drawn from the Kegmenter. Especially useful when dispensing directly from the fermenter or if you simply want to separate the clear liquid from the sediment that is found at the bottom of the Kegmenter.
Pressure Limitations
Maximum Working Pressure: 2.5 BARÂ
Test Pressure: 5 BARÂ
Wall Thickness (Body/Chimes): 1.8mm/2.1mm
Dimensions:
315mm Tall to top of Chime.
395mm Diameter
