3" PolyPhoenix Pot Stripping Runner Kit

It's definitely worth it to do stripping runs. We believe you get a much better product and can make better cuts when you do a final spirit run with your low wines you've collected.
It's definitely a larger commitment to strip distill multiple times if you have a large wash. But we think it's a necessary part of the craft to get a better final product with less unwanted flavours in the end.

This kit uses a PolyPhoenix Tee as the basic head for your pot still. You'll have a wider view of what's happening in your still!

The purpose of a short pot still is to reduce any chance of a reflux ratio. You just want to rip it and strip it. Gather as much low wines from your wash as possible then perform a final spirit run on a bubbler plate still if you're distilling a Whiskey, Rum or Brandy (WRB). Or if you're making neutral alcohol (Vodka) for drinking or Gins / Adding flavour afterwards, then you would use a Reflux Tower Still.
