The Story
Excellent option to produce very neutral alcohol, especially vodka from grain and other kind of amylaceous (starch based) substrates.
Its regular kinetics avoid explosive fermentations and peaks of high temperatures during the growing phase, making it an ideal option for plants without temperature control or insufficient cooling capacity.
Ingredients:Â Yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisiae), emulsifier: E491 (sorbitan monostearate)
Dosage: 30-50g/hl
Rehydration Instrictions:
1. Rehydrate the yeast in 10 times its volume of water or wort at 25C - 35C
2. Leave to rest for 15 minutes
3. Gently stir
4. Pitch in the fermenter.
Typical Analysis
| % dry weight: | 94.0 – 96.5 |
| Viable cells at packaging: | > 15 x 109Â /gram |
| Total bacteria*: | < 1 x 104/gram |
| Acetic acid bacteria*: | < 1 x 103/gram |
| Lactobacillus*: | < 1 x 104/gram |
Pathogenic micro-organisms: in accordance with regulation
