Activated Carbon Filter Funnel Kit

This kit has been designed to be used with small amounts of neutral spirit up to 1L at a time. To make this kit even better, we have had customers cut the bottom of a 29L kegmenter and use it as a reservoir. Mounted upside down on the 4inch Concentric Reducer. 

This kit includes enough activated carbon to fill the Extension tube twice. But 500g is more than enough to last an avid distiller a lifetime of filtering.

We highly recommend mounting your filter kit. To do this we recommend using a 2inch SS Bracket Hanger Clamp

This Activated Carbon Filter Funnel Kit contains:

1 x KL06156 4" to 2" Concentric Reducer for Kegmenter - Still Attachment

1 x KL10641 2" Tri-Clover to 3/4 Female Thread

1 x KL10665 2" Tri-Clover Extension Tube

2 x KL03322 Tri-Clover Clamp (used for Alcoengine reflux stills)

1 x KL03438 Tri-Clover silicone Beaded Seal

1 x KL06583 Stainless Steel 1/2 inch X 3/4 inch BSP Reducing Bush

1 x KL30496 2" Tri-Clover Stainless Mesh Screen PTFE (Teflon & 16 mesh)

1 x KL07375 duotight - 9.5mm (3/8”) Female x ½" Male Thread Ball Valve

1 x KL10888 100% PTFE Plumbers Tape (Teflon Tape) x 3 Pack (15m per roll)

1 x KL11914 500g Spirit Filtration Food Grade Activated Carbon 1-2mm (40mesh)

- EVABarrier is 100% food grade safe for contact with alcohol.
- The Silicone Seals used are not lead curing silicone seals. KegLand Silicone Seals are 100% food grade safe silicone safe for use in contact with alcohol.
- duotight fittings are also 100% food grade safe to use with alcohol.

duotights are made with Acetal or POM (polyoxymethylene). Stainless Steel (The gripping teeth) and EPDM seals which have excellent chemical resistance including being compatible with ozone, oils, wide variety of alkaline and acid compounds, water, alcohol, ketone and beverages. So there is no fear of contaminating your filtered spirits using duotights.
