Green Bullet - (25g Pellet Hop)

Green Bullet delivers a  traditional bittering quality and hop flavour.  A flagship within the New Zealand brewing industry and considered a bittering variety for lager it is more often found these days in big ale styles. Green Bullet also carries a solid Styrian spicy characteristic which also finds it at home in a freshly drawn pint of bitter or an Irish style dry stout.

Is a triploid hop variety that was bred by New Zealand's Department of Scientific and Industrial Research. It was first released in 1972 and has become the signature New Zealand hop. Green Bullet brings a refreshing bitterness with an Alpha Acid that ranges from 11-15%. It has a complex flavor and aroma that is comprised of dark fruits, pine needles, floral aroma, and slight spice. Green Bullet works best in big styles like stouts and imperial IPAs, but has been featured in a wide range of styles including light lagers and session IPAs.
