This premium 100% Cocopeat Brick is washed, unbuffered and additive free. It has been washed to lower the electrical conductivity (EC) and remove cations that compete with the hydroponic nutrient for absorption to the media.
The high Cation Exchange Capacity (CEC) of this cocopeat makes it the ideal hydroponic growing media due to its excellent nutrient absorption and exchange capability, meaning the cocopeat will hold onto and easily release the nutrients to the plant when required.
The fibre structure of cocopeat provides great oxygenation and water retention properties for healthy root development and plant growth.
5kg of compressed cocopeat will expand to 60-70L of hydroponic grow media.
This cocopeat has a neutral pH level so you can nail your nutrient and soil pH to maximise plant growth and yield.
