Sloe Berries - 500g

Sloe Berries are used to make sloe gin, a classic British red liqueur which is a sweeter gin that boasts a richly rounded fruity flavour.

Sloe berries are the small, dark purple to black fruits of the blackthorn tree (Prunus spinosa) and are related to cherries and taste rather like Damsons with a rich almondy sourness.

These berries are dried and will need to be rehydrated in warm water overnight before being used to flavour your gin.
