This VineCo Tempranillo is an elaborate medium-bodied red wine with flavors of red cherry and strawberry intermingled with hints of smoke and a moderate oakiness. This dry red wine boasts a relatively strong alcohol content at 13% by volume. The Tempranillo wine kit includes medium toast oak chips.  Medium toast oak is the most popular toast level used in red wines as it imparts a complex balance of vanillin and spice along with a subtle oakiness. The oak chips also help build body and mouthfeel.
