AB Vickers (Lallemand) Yeast Life O is the result of intensive Research & Development work on the ideal yeast nutrient for supplementing high sugar/low nutrient based fermented beverages such as hard seltzer and dextrose sugar washes.
This yeast nutrient is composed of 100% yeast derived ingredients, so the nutrients are balanced and bio-available for yeast metabolism. Addition of this yeast nutrient will assist in avoiding sluggish and stuck fermentations and it has been formulated to avoid off-flavour and improve mouthfeel.
Yeast Life O does not contain mineral salts or inorganic sources of nitrogen (such as DAP or urea), so it promotes cleaner fermentations compared to inorganic nutrition that may lead to off-flavours due to rapid yeast growth.
Yeast Life O is OMRI listed and gluten-free.
Recommended Dosages and Usage:
Add to the kettle at the end of the boil, or dissolve in water prior to dosing in the fermenter.
High gravity, pure sugar fermentations (>20°P or SG >1.083): 2.5 g/L
Standard sugar fermentations (10-20°P, SG 1.040 - 1.083): 1.5 - 2.5 g/L
Standard wort: 0.3 - 0.5 g/L
