Zappa originally resided in the wild in the mountains of New Mexico. Zappa evolved independently (without the influence of breeding programs) developing its own rebellious aroma and unique flavour characteristics of passionfruit, mint, spice, tropical fruits (mango) and Fruity Pebbles.
Zappa is perfect to be used as an aroma addition during the whirlpool or in the dry hop stage of fermentation for any hop or fruit-forward style, with no other comparable hops on the market.
