This huskless oat crystal malt is quite simply delicious. An exotic ingredient for the adventurous brewer, it brings a subtle nutty flavour. Its creaminess brings mouthfeel and balance to strong, hop forward beers. One taste and we’re sure you’ll be inspired to start creating a new recipe.

We have double milled this for the best possible extraction of flavours. Since it is such a small grain size it would not get milled efficiently through a standard mill. That is why it is not a grain listed in the Grain Bill Maker.

It imparts light golden hues to the wort while adding body and contributing to a smooth mouthfeel. It also helps produce a creamy, robust head.

Although this exotic ingredient is not a traditional component of any beer styles, Simpsons Golden Naked Oats is perfect for malty or full-bodied beers - especially Nut Brown Ales and Stouts.
